Saved places, smoother metadata entry, and reliable import and export
Save named GPS locations and search them from Metadata Assist and the shared location pickers, including Apple Photos. Saved places work offline; address search, decimal coordinates, and Apple Maps coordinate links remain available.
Enter GPS locations beside the Metadata Assist writing area. Selecting a pin returns focus to writing. Previous and Next retain separate photo drafts; Apply keeps Assist open, and Apply & Next advances only after success. Multiple selections can be edited together or individually.
New sources default to Ingest Tagged and No project. Ingest All, Ingest Tagged, and Ingest Selected have explicit membership independent of display filters. Leaving a project restores non-project settings.
Camera-card roots open their camera folders automatically. Imports finish after metadata, cleanup, and card handling; failures keep cards mounted. View Details opens retained-file, destination, and ejection results from either tab.
Improve keyword editing and verification, including blank values and combined additions/removals. Preserve unrelated metadata and write Lightroom-compatible keywords and GPS to matching RAW sidecars.
Social Export defaults to the shared originals folder and {base}_social names, with collision protection. Fix concurrent metadata verification, detect changed originals and sidecars, keep successful frames, and retry remaining frames independently.
Strengthen source-copy and cleanup checks, metadata cancellation, preview retention, and background-work cancellation. Reuse directory ownership indexes and reduce blocking preview work during browsing.
