What’s new in Ingest

Ingest 0.9.9

• Set up a workspace faster: choose Build from scratch, Events, Headshots, or Real Estate, and see the folders, filenames, and import questions before using it.
• Folder setup asks plain questions: a folder for each import, empty folders for later (such as Originals, Edits, and Final Exports), which files you usually import, and whether to make a backup.
• Questions are asked only when a name uses the answer, and the builder shows exactly what you will be asked at import.
• Naming variables sit on the line with your text, start with Photo Number, and include a “What do the variables mean?” reference.
• Share selected photos or folders through Messages or Email, with optional ZIP attachments.
• Preview RAW photos with their Adobe edits. Requires Adobe DNG Converter.
• Tags, ratings, and Organize drafts survive unplugging and reconnecting a drive.

Requires macOS 15 or later and an Apple silicon Mac.
