Preview RAW photos with saved Adobe edits

Use an Adobe-rendered preview to see saved edits while browsing RAW files. Adobe DNG Converter must be installed on your Mac.

Show the saved edits

1. Select a RAW photo from a card or folder.
2. Press ⌘K and choose Preview with Adobe Edits.
3. Wait for the preview to render. If prompted, use Choose Converter… to select your Adobe DNG Converter installation.

Ingest uses settings saved in the file or its companion XMP/ACR data. Edits stored only inside a Lightroom catalog are not included; save the edits to the file or sidecar in your Adobe app first. Ingest creates a cached preview without rewriting the original RAW.

Refresh or return to the camera preview

Run Preview with Adobe Edits again after saving new edits. Choose Show Camera Preview to return to the camera’s embedded preview. Adobe previews are separate from the sensor-based RAW histogram.
